Project Brief

This blog is dedicated to my Thesis Project, Mobile Device Appropriation... So here's a description from my advisor Ian:

The aim of this family of projects is to explore architectures, infrastructures, services and interactions encouraging appropriation and unintended use of mobile devices, such as smartphones. Technologically sophisticated users, such as secondary school students, use diverse media, such as WWW, email, instant messaging, mobile phones, and so on, and they adapt to and adapt these individual technologies in ways designers didn't intend. Projects could include building a content-sharing system for such users, where the content and also the system itself are open for sharing and manipulation by users.

And thats what I'm gonna work on :)
